Public forum with State Rep. Joe Miller at County Fair

The Huron County Democratic Party arranged for a public forum with State Rep Joe Miller on Aug. 15 during the County Fair in the new Veterans Pavilion building. The forum was moderated by Brenda Buchanan, member of the Columbia and Joint Vocational School boards and a former candidate for the Ohio House. To see the full hour-long event video, click HERE.

We had originally tried to arrange a friendly debate between Miller (D-Amherst) and Huron County's rep, Kellie Deeter (R-Norwalk), but there was not a County Fair day when both legislators would have been available. HERE are the debate questions that we had prepared and sent to each lawmaker. Buchanan used them as a guide for forming conversational points for the forum with Rep. Miller. Also, hand-written questions were taken from the audience.
