County Commissioner candidates well received
An open house in support of county commissioner candidates Cass Fryman and Kevin Rasnick was held Sunday, Sept. 13, at the Wakeman Township home of our party secretary, Helen Wheeler.
Cass is current mayor of Plymouth, and has a strong record of accomplishment in her two terms at that post.
Kevin has served five years on the Monroeville Village Council.
Both candidates have served on several community boards, and emphasize transparency and collaboration in bringing effective public service to the community.
Helen: "We had about 23+ people this afternoon and three candidates, also including Easton Retzke[, candidate for Ohio House District 89]. Discussion was pretty intense, the candidates acquitted themselves very well and a lot of yard signs went out the door.
[We talked] "about what might be accomplished if we can change the 'good-ole-boy' revolving door that is our part-time jobbing current commissioner cabinet. ... These are good candidates in my opinion. I urge you to mention them to your friends, and put out their yard signs. Talk them up!!"
