PUBLIC NOTICE: HCDP seeks applicants for Norwalk council seat

The Huron County Democratic Party invites those interested in serving on the Norwalk City Council to submit a letter of interest. The County Party will appoint a replacement for Ward 1 city council member Deborah Lucal, who, after many years of dedicated service, died on Tuesday, December 23rd.

Eligible candidates must be registered to vote and residing in Ward 1 in the City of Norwalk. The City Charter requires that council members be a resident of the City for at least 1 year and a resident of the Ward for at least 60 days prior to appointment.

The appointed candidate will serve the balance of the term, through the end of 2027.
